History of the Farberware Company
The Farberware Company is one of the
oldest coffee making equipment companies. In fact, Farberware
has been in business for for almost 100 years. In December 2007, two long-standing companies Farberware and Black and Decker joined to become
Salton, Inc. In 2009, these two brands became part of a conglomerate known as
the Russell Hobbs, Inc., which is based in Miramar,
Florida.
Russell Hobbs, Inc. and its
subsidiaries are leading marketers and distributors of a broad range of branded
small household appliances and all are made in China.
In the summer of 2010, Spectrum Brands and Russell Hobbs merged with an
approval of the shareholders of Spectrum Brands, Inc., as well as with certain
regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
