RANCILLIO Silvia Espresso Machine

The reason the Miss Silvia is the most popular is many. It is simple, yet elegant, has a commercial-sized 58 mm portafilter, but is sparse in design. It has no extras, like crema-enhancing filters, pre-sets, siphon milk frothing system or automated functions.
What the Miss Silvia does have is 18-8 stainless steel housing, a heavy brass brew head, and a full sized 58 mm portafilter.
It has a standard brass boiler, which holds 12 oz., but despites it lack of a separate steam boiler; the Miss Silvia is a great price.
Other features that should not be ignored include the base has a cup warmer, there is a High limit safety switch on the boiler, a 3-way solenoid valve, a Reservoir volume of 74 oz. and Pod capable with an adaptor.
Just remember that as with any espresso machine, they require the right coffee, grind, tamp and packing technique.
