The OptiDose adjustable doser feature enhances your flexibility to make an ideal cup of coffee. Not only can you change the fineness of the grinds and the amount of water used but also the amount of ground coffee used to make each individual cup from 6 to 9 grams. The easy access front service door simplifies general maintenance and cleaning.

Rapid Steam® technology reduces the normal waiting time between brewing coffee and steam output to just a few seconds. A separate heat exchange for steam provides fast and continuous steam pressure for frothing milk within seconds.

Turn the steam knob and have instant steam for cappuccinos or lattes. Other systems can have you waiting up to 45 seconds for the steam function to be ready but not with Rapid-Steam; you'll have consistent steam for repeated drinks.

The special milk frothing tip delivers perfect foam every time for lattes or cappuccinos, even if you have never foamed milk before! The steam wand is located on the right front of the machine and it accommodates frothing pitchers up to 32 oz. If you need instant hot water for making tea, hot cocoa, or Americanos, the hot water feature is available at the press of a button.

Proper grinding is at the core of excellent coffee production. The Vienna Plus has a built-in, conical type burr grinder, the same type used by the professionals. Pushing the brew button sets the cycle in motion with the grinder measuring out the correct amount of beans for the selection made and then grinding it to specifications.

The heart of Saeco automatic machines is the patented removable brew group. This device allows the machine to tamp, brew and dispense the coffee in one cycle. Softer water for a more robust coffee. With Aqua Prima the number of flavor-altering substances found in water are reduced, and any micro-particles and impurities are filtered. So you can enjoy the improved flavor and full aroma of your coffee. Aqua Prima also reduces the formation of lime scale in the machine so that it lasts even longer. You may use the Aqua Prima filter with this machine.
