The Bosch Benvenuto B20 programmable coffee machine has a unique indicator panel has a red backlighting illuminating icons that let you know what function the machine is performing. In addition to this simple display are easy-to-use control knobs that allow you to choose a brew from 1 to 12 oz of coffee per brewing cycle and your selection of one of the 6 strength options, so each cup is perfectly customized to suit your personal taste. Once you have made your selections, press the Café button of this fully automatic espresso machine and the internal conical burr grinder will grind all the beans in the 8 oz hopper and then brews your coffee.
The 2 Thermoblock Stainless Steel lined aluminum boilers eliminates wait time between brewing and steaming. It has a two position steam wand system for oodles of creamy frothed milk. An 8 oz hopper and a by-pass doser, both allow you to brew up to 14 grams of pre-ground beans. No matter what you use, pre-ground or freshly ground coffee, the Bosch takes the grounds and pre-infuses them before brewing – using AROMASwirl technology – for a better tasting cup of coffee. The Claris Water filtration system filters out lime and other impurities; even before it’s in the machine, so there is not descaling, just enhanced coffee flavor.
The control panel also lets you know when you are out of beans, out of water, the dump box is full, there is a brew group problem, and a decalcification indicator, cleaning cycle indicator and hot rinse cycle indicator.
